Once again a busy Summer has kept me from having time for my news updates so please accept my apologies. As usual we have had a busy old time, visiting the Horse and Rider in Denmark, Royal Highland Show, Blaire Horse Trials and Dorset County. Due to our Saddle Awareness Clinics we had to cut down the amount of shows this year to enable us to have time to do everything including our regular schedule to all areas of the UK, Denmark, Czech, Portugal, Germany and Holland, we even managed a trip to France!
Next year we are looking at taking ourselves on the road again as the have some new local saddle fitting agents getting near accreditation and will be visiting some events we haven’t been to before so please watch the diary for details as we build them in as we approach the Autumn.
Now to the really exciting news! As usual we have been working away on new products. The Matt Burnett Dressage Saddles have finally been finished and Launched, the New Eurospec Elevations, a new stud girth has also come out of the trials and was launched at Blair and the New Reflex Ergonomic girth is nearing final design and trials.
But the most exciting new product I think is our New ReactorPanel LightWeight Saddle the Pegasus… the first prototype saddle was made for Kate Atkinson who after trialing for a few weeks liked it so much she took it to the National Championship at Keysoe and Won . Well done to Kate, the unbeaten Junior Endurance Champion 2015 and now 2016 and thank you so much for your help and input designing this saddle.
The Pegasus weighs in at under 4 kilos including discs and panel (16.5 /17″ trees, larger saddles come in slightly heavier). Made on our new lightweight trees in sumptuous Italian leather with extra padding where it counts it’s a great answer for those riders who do not need weights. The saddle will be on our stand at the Red Dragon Endurance in October so please feel free to come over and check it out, we are also hoping to have our New Xtreme Monoflap mark 2 which has been built along the same lines and promises to be much lighter than the original model.
Although stripped down to basics the saddles both have comfortable, well padded seats, supportive knee rolls, a medium deep seat on the Pegasus and a extra deep seat on the Xtreme. Endurance kit with d rings and water bottle holders and a lovely, secure, close contact feel. I’m so pleased with the way it looks and feels and I’m sure you will agree that our saddle maker has done a fantastic job?
Kind regards Gini x
